Just recently was traded a 535i BMW 3.5, what kind of engine coolant should i purchase for this automobile?

What year? Most likely it will be G2, the red stuff. If the engine was full of rust, I suspect it was in a flood. Does it start? How is the electrical?
For the correct stuff to pour in water if not that pump might be clogged.
The road the antifreeze will really screw up your radiator its much more corrosive.
